Know all by these presents: the Heritage Drip is a drip coffee maker with no plastic in it, anywhere. Its body is solid walnut; its shower head, knob, and footing are stainless steel dressed in brass; its brew cone, water chamber, and carafe are glass, and the carafe makes three cups. It brews the morning the old way — hot water, good grounds, and gravity — and it is built to keep doing so for a very long time. We back that with a five-year warranty.

Article I — Materials Attested

Walnut, brass-coated steel, and glass. That’s everything you can see, and what you can’t see is listed below too. None of it is plastic.

Walnut

The body, brew deck, base, and carafe handle are solid walnut, cut and finished by hand.

It will look better in ten years than it does today.

Steel & Brass

The shower head, lid knob, and feet are stainless steel with a brass coating, so all the hardware matches.

The steel does the work. The brass looks good doing it.

Glass

The swirled brew cone, water chamber, and carafe are all glass. The carafe holds three cups.

Your coffee touches glass, not plastic.

One more thing you should know. The heating element is aluminum and the piping is stainless steel. You can’t join those two metals directly without corrosion, so the junction between them is food-grade silicone. Still no plastic anywhere, and nothing that sheds microplastics.

Article II — The Making

Every Heritage Drip is built by hand in our workshop in Pennsylvania. We take our time with each one, and we don’t cut corners.

This company is new. We started in 2026, and we’re not going to pretend otherwise. The old-fashioned part isn’t a made-up history. It’s how we build.

Tagged at the bench

Our shop tag has two blank lines on it: a part number and a date. If we’re willing to write those down and hang it on something, we stand behind that thing. Heritage goods, made in the USA.

The Maker

From fourteen to twenty-one I was a fine woodworker and a blacksmith. Then I set the hobbies down and went to work in the family construction company.

Most manufacturers hate their customers. I decided that with my skills, I could do it better.

Somewhere in those years I grew disillusioned with the way modern things are made — the look of them, and the way they work. So in 2024 I set out to manufacture a plastic-free, honest, beautiful, basic coffee maker. A great many prototypes later, we have our first product — with many more to follow.

Article III — The Five-Year Bond

We warrant every Heritage Drip against defects in materials and workmanship for five years from the day it reaches you. If it fails you in honest use, we will repair or replace it. A coffee maker built from walnut, steel, and glass has no excuse to do otherwise.
